A resident of Sydney, NSW, Ian began his racing career in go−karts at the age of 16.
He's the 2013 World of Outlaw point champion, 2008 Kings Royal winner, 2003 Historical Big One winner, Gold Cup champion, the only American to win the World Series of Sprint Cars title in Australia, and now a successful businessman/part-time racer.
